Where We Dispatch From and Where We Go
Our base is 3900 Wadsworth Blvd in Wheat Ridge, ZIP 80033, on one of the main north-south corridors in the west metro. From there crews serve Wheat Ridge and three nearby towns: Arvada to the north, Denver to the east and Golden to the west. Dispatch is answered 24/7.
Wheat Ridge
In Wheat Ridge we serve ZIP code 80033 and the addresses around it. The city maps floodplains along Clear Creek, Lena Gulch and 26th Avenue, and tap water arrives from six named providers such as Consolidated Mutual and the Wheat Ridge Water District. See flood damage restoration for how creek and storm water is handled.
Arvada
Arvada is about two miles north of our address on a straight line. We serve ZIP codes 80002, 80003, 80004, 80005 and 80007. The city's own records name Ralston Creek and the 2013 flood, and its guidance says the homeowner maintains the sewer service line.
Denver
Denver is roughly five miles east southeast of our address, with west and northwest Denver closest. We serve ZIP codes 80202, 80203, 80204, 80205, 80211, 80212, 80218 and 80219. Denver's Flood Protection Handbook explains why federal flood insurance does not cover sewer backup.
Golden
Golden is a little under eight miles due west. We serve ZIP codes 80401 and 80403. Federal flood records for the county note several severe floods in Golden since 1864, mostly along Clear Creek and Tucker Gulch.
How Dispatch Works Across Towns
All four areas use the same number and the same process. You describe the water, the street and the ZIP code, and dispatch tells you what to do while a crew is arranged. Whichever city you call from, crews go out in call order and arrival times are never guaranteed.
If you live just outside the towns listed, call anyway. Give the street address and we will tell you whether we can send a crew. The pages above list the ZIP codes we serve today, and we do not claim coverage we cannot support.
How to Check Your Water Provider and ZIP Code
Water and sewer service in this part of the metro area is split among cities and special districts, so the company that bills you is not always the one named on your city's website. Your water bill lists the provider. Your sewer provider may be the city, a sanitation district or a different district again, and the bill or your city's utility page will say which.
Knowing both matters during an emergency. A main line break in the street is a call to your water provider, and a sewer main backup is a call to your sewer provider, while the water inside the house is our job. Having those numbers written down before a loss saves minutes when minutes count.
Your ZIP code matters for coverage and for insurance paperwork. Mailing addresses sometimes carry a city name that differs from the city that actually serves the address, especially along the boundaries between Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Denver and Edgewater. When you call, give the street address and ZIP code and we will confirm coverage.
What Each Town Page Covers
Every town page lists the ZIP codes we serve there, the water and sewer providers that matter for a backup call, the local flood history from city and federal records, and the permit office to ask about repairs. The pages do not share text, because the water problems differ from one town to the next.
| Area | Direction from our base | Local water story |
|---|---|---|
| Wheat Ridge | Home base | Three mapped floodplains and several water districts |
| Arvada | North | Ralston Creek, the 2013 flood and homeowner-owned sewer lines |
| Denver | East southeast | Sloan's Lake drainage, large sewer system and a flood handbook |
| Golden | West | Clear Creek flood history, foothills storms and burn-scar runoff |
